The key point was, as we align our desires with God’s will or plan for our life, we find our desires are His desires and therefore He enjoys fulfilling our desire and we rejoice in it, as well. That is reinforced in telling us that righteous individuals experience ‘only good’ desires as righteous followers of God. It all depends on God being the Author of our story, and as we align with His plan, our desires are birthed and fulfilled by the eternal, all loving, all knowing Creator of the universe. I long to fulfill every desire of my grandchildren. The problem is that some of their desires can be harmful. In God’s design, there is no harmful plan, therefore, our desires from His heart are not just good – they are truly awesome.
