That seems like a bit of an understatement. Having a rough day? Are things not going as smooth as you’d like? Are people being less then kind to you? Is this pandemic threatening you and your loved ones’ future? Consider the One this verse is talking about. This Redeemer is the God who created the universe and everything in it. He set the boundaries of the seas and determined the rotation of the planets around the sun. He established the exact number of beats for your heart before it goes silent forever as well as every other heart that ever has or ever will exist. The list of what He has done is infinite. Any description of His power or character falls short of the spectacular reality that is Him. He is the one who has your back now and for all eternity. I don’t know what threatens you today. I mean, I have a pretty good, broad idea, but maybe it’s a specific health issue or a social situation. I’m not privy to what is causing stress and anxiety in your story, but He is – perhaps it’s the stress this new virus is putting on your finances, the greater world situation, or something going on with your kids or parents.
