Proverbs 26:10 NIV

‬‬

There is a very interesting take on this section by some theologians that seems very relevant to The Edge leader and employee. I’ll start at their ultimate conclusion. We need to pray diligently for those in our companies or on our teams who are responsible for hiring. A long time friend is in HR for a large international company and we have had a number of discussions over the years about what it takes to hire well. At different times and with different companies the challenge has varied. One of The Edge board members is the HR director for a company that has a 150% turnover annually. Can you imagine the pressure to take anybody who walks in the door. Another HR director told me that during the pandemic they felt as though they almost had to resort to “the mirror test.” That means if they showed signs of life they got a job. It was never really that bad but there was tremendous pressure to lower the bar. Your company needs you to not only work with excellence, they need you praying for those divine appointments to walk in the door. Those men and women God wants to join your team. Today pray for your leaders and help recruit quality men and women to build the culture of salt and light we all need you to represent.#BeTheEdge
