I’ve stuck with the practice of sharing only one verse of each days chapter while hoping you read each days Proverb in its entirety. I highly recommend you at least read vs. 5 and 6 together. Gods flawless Word. Think about that a moment. If it’s God’s and flawless, as of course everything He does is, what level of arrogance or depth of distrust must be present for someone to add to or subtract from that flawless, supreme Word. Ever since it was written there have been those who have done both. Time to offend. Thats not my purpose however “the Book of Mormon and kindred works of Joseph Smith and his followers; the Flying Roll of the Jezreelites; the prophecies and visions of Ellen White, regarded by the Seventh-day Adventists as of equal authority with the Bible; the unchristian and unscientific theories of Mary Baker Eddy, as set forth in Science and Health, which its followers claim to be a key to the Scriptures” (Ironsides) and many more including the ‘infancy gospels of Jesus, the Gospel of Steven, etc. are exactly what we are warned about in these verses and throughout scripture. So here’s the deal. Be very protective of what your heart and mind are allowed to consider as The Word of God. There is only one place that exists, the Bible. Today check everything against the clearly revealed truth in God’s only Holy Word. #BeTheEdge
