Toward the end of my wife’s cancer battle we started and ended each day looking out our back glass doors across hundreds of acres of beautiful pasture and woods worshipping as Nicole C Mullins sang “Redeemer”. A sample of the lyrics:
“Who taught the sun where to stand in the morning?
And who told the ocean, you can only come this far?
And who showed the moon where to hide ’til evening?
Whose words alone can catch a falling star?
Well, I know my Redeemer lives
I know my Redeemer lives
All of creation tesifies
This life within me cries
I know my Redeemer lives,”
It reminded us of who was in charge and that life was ultimately found in Him. All of creation does testify to the beauty, power, majesty, and so much more, of our all powerful God and savior. Romans 1 as well as dozens of other places in scripture remind us that God’s presence is seen everywhere we look throughout nature, it just depends on the lenses we look through. In this portion of scripture Solomon wants to remind us that if we lose sight of our creative creator we lose life itself. Today lift your eyes and clear your vision to see your loving Father everywhere. #BeTheEdge
