The world is filled with things designed to cause us to stumble. In reality, they are there to make us fall and be destroyed. Solomon tells his son that God’s instruction is there to clear away those things—or more accurately, to help us walk in such a way that they are no threat to us. That is the result of His protection over our journey. When we walk in the path He has planned for us, we are essentially indestructible. I once worked with a principal who took over a dangerous inner-city high school. As he began to change the environment of the school, the gangs didn’t like it. They were losing their grip on the students. They threatened the principal’s life numerous times. I asked him if he was concerned. As a believer, he boldly stated that until God wanted to bring him home, he was completely safe—indestructible. No bullet, knife, or threat could take him down without God’s okay. Today, boldly walk in God’s path. #BeTheEdge
