Proverbs 7:3 NASB

I saw this comment yesterday, “…a few weeks ago the CDC and health folks said homemade cloth masks were useless and they had a 0% chance of protecting us from getting the virus and a 0% chance of keeping the wearer from spreading the virus. The only effective ones were the N95 masks which the healthcare and frontline folks desperately needed. So now suddenly you’re pushing for us to wear the same masks that are basically deemed useless.” Without seeing you I suspect you have a ready answer to this comment. Depending on the shifting information we have coming out almost daily, there are a wide variety of opinions from individuals and even medical professionals. I have an opinion…today. The point here is not what you believe or know. It’s to illustrate that the world has widely divergent opinions on everything, I don’t mean most things, literally everything. One reason for that is the almost worship of “moral relativism” in our world today. “Moral relativism is the view that moral judgments are true or false only relative to some particular standpoint (for instance, that of a culture or a historical period) and that no standpoint is uniquely privileged over all others.” In other words, there is no solid right or wrong. No truth. Everything is up to individual opinion and “feelings.” God notoriously gave Moses the Ten Commandments not, as Ted Koppel so clearly put it, the “Ten Suggestions.” Jesus claimed to be The Truth not “a truth.” The sooner we measure right and wrong or truth and lies against God’s Word, the sooner we align together, and watch God bless our story. Today, follow God’s truth and let Him defend it. It takes off a lot of stress. #BeTheEdge
