Proverbs 24:16 NIV

“for though the righteous fall seven times, they rise again, but the wicked stumble when calamity strikes.”

I love this truth. Yeah, maybe more than you since I feel prone to falling more than everybody else. That God forgives and restores us to fellowship with Him is one of the greatest and most comforting truths of His Kingdom. This verse is a reflection of both Job and me. Physically falling, spiritually falling and everything in between offers a beautiful look at the redemptive work of God. He is and has always been in the business of redemption and reconciliation. Satan wants to knock us down and keep us there. Accusation, guilt and other lies are his tools to keep us there. Conviction comes from the Holy Spirit and is His gift to move us to repentance and restoration. Condemnation is from the pit of hell. Jesus Himself tells us that He did not come into the world to condemn anyone. He came to lift us up to His Father. Today live a life of freedom from guilt in Jesus’ loving forgiveness. #BeTheEdge

“For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.” John‬ ‭3‬:‭17‬ ‭NIV‬‬
