My grandson and I were riding to the rodeo the other day. On the way, he and I had a conversation about God and spiritual things. Our conversation came down to the known and the unknown. We talked for a while about what we could never fully comprehend or understand with our finite minds about our infinite God. There are things from creation. There are things about life today. There are things in the eternal future that we won’t understand until we’re there. But there are a lot of things that, with some study, some digging, and some perseverance, we can begin to grasp while we’re still here. During that conversation, I mentioned how someone in our family was looking at the God we serve from the outside in. They were looking from that perspective and asking questions about Him, and because they didn’t fully understand, they could not bring themselves to accept Him. But we were looking at the questions about God from the inside out. Because we approached them that way, we began with a belief in the basics of salvation and who God is as our heavenly Father. Rather than seeing the questions as disqualifying God, they were exciting to us because they meant God was so much bigger than we could ever even imagine. We saw it as an adventure, an exciting adventure to pursue and discover more about the God we serve. Solomon is talking about that in this verse. It is the glory of God, and we have the privilege of searching out that glorious God. Today, continue to search for those deeper things with excitement. #BeTheEdge
