Proverbs 10:28 NIV

We either live in fear or excited anticipation of what our future holds. There are lots of variables that can play into which you find yourself in. A clear line between knowing God and trusting that He has a sovereign plan for your life or living a life of chance that eventually comes to fruition after a series of bad choices has a lot to do with your perspective as well. The real emotional challenge is despair. The followers of God will certainly face hard times however, unlike those with no hope they will not despair. Perhaps I should say they should not despair. Even the children of God need to live with an awareness of the presence of God in every moment of every day of their journey. When a believer is in despair it is a sign that they lack understanding of God’s presence and direct involvement in their story. When I witness a non believer in despair it is a clear awareness of their helpless condition. That is a perfect opportunity to speak of the reality of a savior waiting to enter their struggle with His love and power. Hope and despair are both powerful. Today walk in Hope. #BeTheEdge

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah‬ ‭29‬:‭11‬ ‭NIV‬‬
