I recently watched as two competing companies became embroiled in a turf war. However, this battle took a very personal turn as one group began accusing the head of the other of a variety of ridiculous and exaggerated things. Over time, they became so focused on throwing shade on the other company that they seemed to have forgotten they were in the business of selling. After a time, they began to blame each other for their lack of success in selling and making a profit. Consequently, they both became a shell of their former selves. However, while all this was going on, a third company quietly went about the business of selling. The leader of the third company ignored the squabble of the other two, and even gently deflected attempts to broach the subject when outsiders wanted to talk about the situation with him. Eventually, the third company became very successful. This truth works in ministry and personal lives as much as in business. Today, shut up and pursue your calling. #BeTheEdge
