Proverbs 22:11 NIV

I hope you have this person in your life. More importantly I hope you are this person in other lives. Solomon is promoting the person who loves having a pure heart and whose words are filled with grace. This doesn’t guarantee success in business but, really, who wouldn’t rather do business with someone who speaks and acts appropriately and looks for the same thing in others. Take a second and ponder the opposite of this person. We tend to encounter more of those people in our lives. As I prepared to write todays challenge I took a few moments to consider who was in my life that reflected the sense of this verse. I have some great examples that immediately came to mind. Thankfully there are very few, actually none, of the opposite in my inner circle. How about you? Are these people in your life? Are you this person in the lives of those you live, play and work with? It needs to be a goal. Becoming this person is the result of walking intimately with and in obedience to God. Today allow God to examine your heart and words and seek to reflect Him. #BeTheEdge
