I have always believed that when a passage is challenging to understand, or people bring multiple interpretations to it, that going with the literal interpretation is usually safe and at most times best. It has been said (and is often true) that you can support almost any argument or point of view using scripture. In the last couple of months, I have watched and heard behind the scenes from businessmen and women who are living out today’s verse. Many of them don’t even know this verse, but God’s sovereign ownership of their spirit has bent them in this direction. They are feeding people who are hungry, serving, or standing in the gap for us during this crisis. The methods of how this is being done is as creative and varied as the types of food and locations that they serve. Some were so humbled as they sought just to quietly bless others without notice, only to watch God bless themselves in even more astounding and creative ways (imagine that). I have always heard that you can’t out-give God and He is revealing that truth through people – from caregivers to restauranteurs to corporate leaders. God loves to bless His children. Today, be a blessing and watch you Heavenly Father work. #BeTheEdge
