This is a reminder about presuming on the future. The longer you live the more you will see your clear understanding of what is in your future change. At 20 I knew exactly what my future was going to be. At 30 I realized it had been tweaked a bit. At 40 it was totally redirected. At 50 I found it barely recognizable and at 60 there was not a recognizable part left from my certain plans from my 20’s. God is a fan of planning but He is not locked into our plans, especially if they do not take us on the journey that He has written for our life. In many ways I can easily say I would have preferred my plans. The death of loved ones. The rejection of things and Truths valued by others. The most dangerous thing we do in writing our own future, then living by those plans, is to put off things that we may never again have the opportunity to accomplish. Saying “I love you” to a loved one. And most importantly, salvation delayed is too often eternity missed. That is why scripture tells us “Today is the day of salvation”. Today as God speaks into your story, obey. #BeTheEdge
