Has 2019 been a tough year or a good year? Either way the beauty of tomorrow is that it literally brings a brand-new year. It is the chance to do things differently, to start over, to wipe the slate clean. Maybe it’s time to correct yesterday’s mistakes or create new habits. Perhaps what you need instead is just to elevate your game or kick it up a notch. Or possibly the road you’re on is solid, well done and properly executed, and you just need to “hold her steady.” Whatever the case, God has a clear journey for you and offers the wisdom (see James 1:5) and the power to make it happen. Your future does not have to be frightening. It may be a mystery, but the Author of all mysteries holds it securely in His hands. And He loves you powerfully and cares for you deeply. His Word is filled with promises from Him to you. In His hands even the most challenging future is bright. Today, correct what He convicts you of, celebrate what is good and step boldly into tomorrow, firmly grasping His powerful hand.
