I know what you must be thinking. “Here we go again”. Maybe not, but this is another verse where Solomon is cautioning about the adulteress of the day who goes aggressively after a young man. The portrait he draws here is of a woman whose life is undisciplined and out of control. As a result she allows passions to guide her life. After my wife passed away I noticed certain sloppy habits beginning to form in my life. They way I kept the house got a bit more cluttered. Exercise started to become more infrequent. Vegetables were few and far between in my diet. I soon began to see these patterns affect areas of social interactions and even work. I decided it was time to correct the direction I was drifting into. First thing in the morning I would get up early, make the bed and get my devotion from Proverbs written and distributed. I also invited accountability into my daily walk. I told my daughter that if she ever came to the house and noticed my bed was unmade that something was wrong. I also told my accountability partner to check in on these areas when we met. Today watch those areas where you are prone to get undisciplined. #BeTheEdge
