“She has sent out her servants, and she calls from the highest point of the city,”
In this verse we see wisdom which represents God‘s God‘s brilliance and truth through a dignified woman. Here we see her sending out servants to a world that desperately needs what God offers through her. The world of Solomon‘s Day needed it in the world today needs it perhaps even more. The fun challenge in this verse is that in a very real sense we are the servants that are being sent out. There’s no doubt the world needs to hear the wisdom of God. Today the world operates by counterfeit wisdom in so many areas, and we see our society suffering as a result. More importantly, we see our children suffering as a result. The urgency to hear the message and then to get it out to those who are searching, many of whom don’t even realize they’re searching, is that a point of crisis and desperation. Our hearts should break for those who need to hear. God‘s heart certainly does. I don’t believe he was desperate, but he certainly was intentional and strategic to send his son to bring his wisdom and salvation through his son. We should at least carry the same sense of urgency. Today operate as one of the scent servants of the King. #BeTheEdge
