Over the past week I have had a few meetings with business leaders in my role with The Edge ministry. In part, we discussed other leaders in various companies who reflect their faith in their life and business dealings, as we work to create groups and mentors for industry professionals desiring to become better at influencing their own work environments for Christ. I was blessed to learn how many leaders in our area reflect their faith, even in their most difficult business challenges. However, it was a bit unexpected to find that some of the examples I shared, who I thought reflected their faith well, actually surprised the individuals I was talking with that they were believers. Certainly, all of us at times struggle to represent Christ. We are not perfect. Conversely (and more importantly), I was encouraged by the overwhelming response I got when certain business leaders’ names came up in our conversation and we celebrated that person’s faith as being very evident. Our works speak louder than our words and will reveal our love for Jesus clearly. Today, bless those you encounter and walk away from anything that Jesus would walk away from. #BeTheEdge
