We have seen Solomon talk about using honest scales before. This is unique in that he now tells us they are the Lords and He actually made them. When our children were young they all attended a private Christian school. One of the main reasons my wife and I chose to have them there was that we wanted them to have a Biblical Worldview on all areas of life and learning. Part of that was the understanding of Mathematics. Two plus two not only equaled four that day but it always had and it always would. Not because math or their teacher said so but because we serve a God of order who created everything including the tenets of math. They could trust His consistent truths in every area for all of eternity. Over time a lot of God’s creation has been tampered with and lied about but that has never changed the reality that His standards stand as He does, the same yesterday, today and forever. In this verse the honest scales and balance, the weights, are referring to His justice. He has, is and always will be a God of justice. Though the world may try and twist His justice it will never change. Today live in all of His truth and live justly. #BeTheEdge
