Proverbs 22:2 NASB

The other day I googled how many different races of humans there are on the earth. I found a variety of articles and answers, but I found this most interesting. Race “is a cultural construct and not a biological one. People do differ, of course, and they can be grouped in various ways, but “race” has no clear scientific definition. If you search on “race as a social construct” or “race as a cultural construct,” you can find some interesting reading…” (from Michael Hamm). I then looked up how many different religions are there. I discovered an article from the year 2000, which said, “There are some 4,300 religions of the world…according to Adherents, an independent, non-religiously affiliated organization that monitors the number and size of the world’s religions.” I’m sure there are more, today, 20 years later. There is no shortage of ways to compartmentalize the human race, income, hair color, blood type and innumerable other categories. God sees us in two categories, His and not His. We were all created by Him with equal opportunity to receive His gift of eternal life with Him or reject His offer and spend eternity separated from Him. That’s it. No other category matters in the scope of eternity. Not political party, whether you are naughty or nice, body shape or size, or whether you are popular or unknown, none of those matter in the scheme of eternity. Today, make sure you are in a relationship with your Creator God- that’s all that really matters, then treat everyone else like they are or could be. #BeTheEdge
