Proverbs 24:10 NASB

I saw this yesterday and had to laugh. “For the first time in history we can save the human race by laying in front of the TV and doing nothing. LET’S NOT SCREW THIS UP!” Then it struck me that this is truly some people’s attitude. Then I was a little sad. We are facing an enemy or threat God never called us to give up and resign ourselves to. Tomorrow is Memorial Day – not really the time to spread a message of quitting in the face of danger and threat. God called us, in His strength, power, and instruction, to lead the charge. That may look very different for each of us. Some of us may truly find ourselves hidden away in our “war room” praying against the invisible enemy attacking our country and the world. More may huddle their families together and grow them in strength, love, and courage as the storm rages around them. And others will put on masks and gloves and take the battle to the front line. But, no follower of the King of Kings and Lord of Lords is given the instruction to slack off, grab the Doritos and curl up on the couch with the remote for the duration. Today, in His strength, grab your marching orders and live boldly. The hurting world needs you and is watching. #BeTheEdge

“Therefore, strengthen the hands that are weak and the knees that are feeble, and make straight paths for your feet, so that the limb which is lame may not be put out of joint, but rather be healed.” Hebrews 12:12-13 NASB
