I don’t know about you but I’m fascinated by the stories over the past few years where murderers have been found as much as 50 years after going undetected in their crimes. The key: DNA. Many of these crimes were committed before the technology to uncover the criminal even existed. In 1892 Brazilian police chief Francis Galton discovered a way to lift and preserve fingerprints. That radically altered law enforcements ability to solve crimes by preserving them as evidence of a persons presence at a crime scene. DNA has taken that to a whole new level. DNA can come from any part of the human body and the ability to not leave any wherever you’ve been is close to impossible. Just watch CSI or any crime show or movie to confirm that. Solomon wants us to know the futility of trying to conceal our sin. With DNA “as with all tests, there is always the chance that you will receive incorrect results. No test is 100 percent accurate.”(fld,com) God is 100% in seeing through to the core of our heart. He knows our sin and we are accountable to Him for every one of them no matter how much we may try to hide them. Conversely, God offers to cover our sin and make it completely irrelevant through the gift of His son. Today confess, repent and be made clean. #BeTheEdge
