Proverbs 29:18 NIV

The existential questions for individuals are certainly true for business, churches and ministries as well. Scripture makes us aware of our need for God. So does life. The yearning in our soul calls us to answer the existential queries: Who am I? Why am I here? Where am I going? Without the answer to those biggies we are destined to live lives of restlessness, fear and anxiety. Our soul not only calls for the answers but, over time, screams for them. When we pursue the answers in the wrong places there is a tendency to move outside our natural restraint and participate in dangerous thoughts and behaviors to find them. Restraint is the gift of God’s presence and Truth in our life. It guides us to the place of rest, fruitfuness and peace. As we live in alignment with God’s hand on our life He writes the story that not only answers the “Big Three” but also hits our sweet spot right where He created it. That’s what alignment looks and feels like. Again, that is a gift more precious then money, fame or any other substitute the world will try and entice you with. Today find your answers in God alone and walk in the revelation and peace He gives.#BeTheEdge
