Proverbs 3:13 NIV

We do not naturally have the wisdom of God present in our fallen nature. There is an earthly wisdom but it is prone to take us astray just as much as it will help us make Godly decisions. God intentionally made us completely dependent on Him for wisdom. If we had access to His wisdom without Him we would be tempted to believe with didn’t need Him. We may even make the Lucifer error and believe we were as wise as He is. Scripture tells us that Jesus is the wisdom of God. Notice I didn’t, or rather He didn’t, say Jesus knows the Wisdom of God or even Jesus has access to the wisdom of God. He tells us in Corinthians that Jesus is “the” wisdom of God. Therefore if we want God’s wisdom all we need to have access to it is Jesus. That’s right, our journey to God’s wisdom begins in our turning over our story to God through Jesus. At that moment God’s infinite wisdom, wisdom beyond our greatest imagination, becomes intimately connected to our story. Intelligence does not equal wisdom but while we are looking at wisdom it helps to remember that God is also the source of all intelligence. There is no point where He runs out of wisdom, knowledge or intelligence. Today find the source of all you need in your savior. #BeTheEdge
