Proverbs 1:3 NIV

“for receiving instruction in prudent behavior, doing what is right and just and fair;”

This is an excellent formula for New Years resolutions or actually establishing any plan to grow in all areas of life. Proverbs is clear that it was written to bring us the instruction and along with the rest of scriptures show us what is right and just and fair. A few years ago I suggested a plan for working through the New Testament in a year. There was a tremendous response and I realized a lot of people wanted to work through scripture but just needed a workable plan. It can be life changing. If you read one chapter from the New Testament every weekday (Monday – Friday) you will essentially read the entire book in a year. This has proven to be a very doable practice for even the busiest business leader. Couple that with our morning thought from Proverbs using The Edge Daily app and you are headed for a transformed. Let’s all have one this year. Obviously there are other plans and resources that can help you grow as well. The encouragement here is to just do something and allow God’s Spirit to work His change in you. Today establish your plan in The Word and prayer and as you stick with it watch the supernatural work out in your journey. #BeTheEdge
