“Wisdom reposes in the heart of the discerning and even among fools she lets herself be known.”
This one sounds a little poetic doesn’t it? Repose is a great word. Wisdom is at rest in the heart of God’s children. It is not in turmoil, troubled and aggravated. It brings a sense of peace in the midst of whatever circumstances we face. That may be the greatest gift God gives after salvation. To live with a deep, calm sense of peace in the midst of life’s storms is beyond human comprehension. It speaks loudly to a watching world. In a different sense, even the lost are aware of God’s wisdom, they just refuse to acknowledge it. They battle His truth and refuse to submit to it. As a result they live in turmoil and are driven by an insatiable hunger that defies explanation. As the world watches God’s followers operate from a place of His wisdom compared to the lost who operate from their place of foolishness the contrast becomes obvious. Wisdom is revealed to a watching world through the difference of behaviors and outcomes. Today live wisely and let God be revealed. #BeTheEdge
