“The eyes of the LORD are in every place, watching the evil and the good.” Proverbs 15:3 NASB
That God is omniscient means that God is all-knowing. This means God knows everything, including the past and future. There is nothing God is unaware of. “Agnostic” and “grossly ignorant” in certain contexts can be used to mean the opposite of “omniscient”. The thing to think about is that we live our life connected to one of these definitions or the other. We have either placed our lives and future into the hands of the omniscient, all-knowing creator and sustainer of the universe, or we live in gross ignorance. As followers of Christ, we actually have the choice to live boldly by faith or we can look no different than those who don’t have the benefit of walking intimately with the all-knowing and all-seeing Author of life. But even with that reality our God is more. He is also omnipresent. Omnipresence means He is everywhere at the same time. Here’s another mind bender, God is distinct from the universe, but inhabits the entirety of it. Mind blown? These are only a few of the characteristics of our God. At a time like this do you really want to serve a God who is any less. Today, reflect on the awesomeness of God, and live in His power and will for your story – big and powerful. #BeTheEdge
