“The eyes of the Lord keep watch over knowledge, but he frustrates the words of the unfaithful.”
There have been numerous sociological and even some biological claims made over the past few years that, to say the least, are bizarre. The normal thinking person is definitely confused by many of them. The spirit led follower of God is dismayed and, as God Himself, even outraged by some of them. Solomon is letting all of us know in this verse that all wisdom, insight, knowledge and truth finds it origin in God and Him alone. It has been more than interesting to watch some of the declarations of the lost begin to frustrate other conflicting declarations of other lost men and women. The followers of God and His truth can almost stand on the sidelines and watch these foolish people stumble over and ultimately become frustrated with each other. In the midst of all this confusion God’s truth stands unchanging, clear and eternal. It is not the offensive, narrow minded, judgmental viewpoint the unfaithful would try and make it out to be. It is a gift. An anchor in a world adrift and blinded in its confusion. Today find stability and peace in God’s firm knowledge. #BeTheEdge
