Proverbs 24:32 NIV

“I applied my heart to what I observed and learned a lesson from what I saw:”

It is generally understood that there are between 3 and 10 different learning styles. Solomon highlights one of the more common and potent forms of learning in this verse: “Visual learners absorb information best through images, videos, diagrams, charts, and other visual aids. These graphic representations improve knowledge retention by presenting information in memorable formats that are easy to recall.” (Cloud Assess) This form of learning represents my own style. It’s not surprising, considering that the majority of people (about 65%) learn best this way. Jesus understood this as well. How often do we see Him using visual cues to teach during His ministry? “Consider the lilies of the field,” or the example of building houses on rock versus sand. Nature was His greatest resource for revealing deep spiritual truths. God Himself holds us accountable to know Him, regardless of what we have been taught, by the evidence we see in and through nature. Romans tells us that what we see in nature reveals who He is and leaves us without excuse for claiming we don’t know He exists. Today, look around you—and see the face of God. #BeTheEdge

“For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.” Romans‬ ‭1‬:‭20‬ ‭NIV‬‬
