Proverbs 25:1 NIV

“These are more proverbs of Solomon, compiled by the men of Hezekiah king of Judah:”

If I was King or President I would spend a great deal of time in God’s word. I would put special emphasis on The Proverbs and ultimately really focus on these last 6 chapters. The 31 chapters of Proverbs in this book are carved out of the 3000 (1 Kings 4:32)Solomon wrote. These last ones focus on a number of important truths. Theologians believe they are especially focused on wisdom for Kings and their administrators. If you are a leader, these are valuable truths for you as well. With that in mind, it is good to remember that not only are we, as followers of God, His children, but we are also ambassadors of His kingdom. We represent Him to a world that desperately desires and needs to see what it looks like to be a citizen of His Kingdom. However we are more then just His children. As His child, you are royalty as well. We live in a time where respect for earthly royalty has been severely tarnished, perhaps with  its behavior it should be. Regardless, we serve a powerful, eternal King who’s kingdom is in need of representatives who reflect His glory. Today our challenge is to learn His truth and as His representatives live as though we know who we are. #BeTheEdge

“We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God.” 2 Corinthians 5:20 NIV
