God still makes good on His promises” (Lecrae, Restoration). The uncertainty of all our tomorrows is what makes Lecrae’s words so powerful and comforting.
Read any day’s headlines and you are bound to see a surprise, and eight out of ten times it won’t be a good surprise. The uncertainty factor alone can cause deep anxiety within our core. The fear that accompanies our current challenges is reaching levels nationally that we may have only seen a glimpse of on 9/11, or even in wars of the past. Understand that we only have to live boldly in this moment. As we enter the next moment, we will find our Sovereign Father already is there bringing all the comfort and confidence we will ever need. As a New Year hovers just days away, we can walk with a confidence that befuddles the watching world.
