“Do not boast about tomorrow, for you do not know what a day may bring forth.” Proverbs 27:1 NASB

“Once upon a time, God’s people were going through pain and problems and he made them a promise: ‘I know the plans I have for you. Plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.’  He made them a promise in the midst of the pain. Be encouraged if you have pain and are facing problems. God still makes good on his promises.” (Lecrae #Restoration) The uncertainty of all our tomorrows makes Lecrae’s words so powerful and comforting. Read any day’s headlines and you are bound to be surprised, and eight out of ten times it won’t be a good surprise. The uncertainty factor alone can cause deep anxiety in our core. The fear that accompanies our current challenges is reaching levels nationally that we may have only seen a glimpse of on 9/11 or during wars of the past. Understanding that we only have to live (boldly) in this moment, and that as we enter the next one, we will find our sovereign Father already there, brings all the comfort and confidence we should ever need. Today, live boldly in the now as though God has every aspect of your life in His hands, because He does. #BeTheEdge
