“the lambs will provide you with clothing, and the goats with the price of a field.”
This is about diligence in your work. If you take care of your responsibilities they will take care of you. At least that’s the biblical principle here. Lambs that are cared for will provide clothing as well as other needs and goats cared properly for will allow you to grow your operation and therefor your ability to provide for yourself and kingdom (which should be complimentary) needs. It also shows a cyclical blessing. You care for the producer of goods that allows you to buy more land (expand your production) and you have more land to add lambs which in turn created more resources to expand and so on and so on. I watch very Godly and brilliant men and women lead their companies through this process daily and ultimately sell them so that those on the journey with them are rewarded by their leadership. This verse is part of a set of verses from 23 through 27 which all feed this truth. It is not only true for millionaires. I have some friends who have been traveling to a very impoverished part of the world teaching, equipping and ultimately financing men and women who at a very basic level are working to faithfully execute this God designed cycle of living and working. We all have the capacity at whatever level the Lord has us to follow this pattern faithfully and see His hand at work. Today care for the calling you have been given. #BeTheEdge
