Wow, now that is a great description. Living in such a deep darkness that you don’t even realize what sin or its consequence that is tripping you up. So many consequences of a life of sin are evident in todays broken culture and yet it seems that those suffering from it the most are the most unaware of what is happening. They live with sadness, anxiety and loneliness as a result of a life lived in rebellion to their loving creator God and yet have no explanation for their condition. One of the great frustrations for God’s children is to know what is happening but to be unable to make the hurting understand. We can actually be pretty horrific at helping them realize what’s going on in the spiritual world. We can be so bad at it that we become part of the problem at times. We celebrate our nations freedom today and yet we see so many still in bondage to another power. Jesus clearly communicated that unlike the revolutionary war we don’t need to go to battle for this freedom. Jesus fought and won the war for our spiritual and eternal freedom for us. We just need to receive it and walk as free people. We are not striving for independence in the spiritual battle. We are shifting our dependence from Satan and ourselves to our Heavenly Father. Today celebrate freedom in the light of His love. #BeTheEdge
