Do you know why you are here? For many of us, there are a lot of decisions that need to be made in a crisis. Being in the midst of so much uncertainty can cause some people to bounce in a lot of directions. I see leaders who change to “a better idea” almost daily. Others, who have a clear-eyed grasp on their purpose move steadily ahead with strong direction and a stabilizing guidance for their family and teams. The core difference comes from their understanding first and foremost of Whose they are and why they are here. They have previously taken a long view, off into eternity, that guides their steps today and into tomorrow. An understanding that God is leading them and that they are leading others as they follow is at the heart of what they do.
