Earlier in this chapter we have seen Wisdom tell us that she was there with God from the very beginning of all creation. We have reflected on His act of creation. We talked about the power and beauty revealed about who He is through His amazing (that word does not seem nearly big enough) creative acts. Today Solomon shows us a glimpse of the stability we find in God. He establishes and securely fixes His creation in place. As the world can appear to occasionally, maybe more often than that, spin out of control around us it does well to reflect on the consistency and stability of God. When something surprises us it does not surprise Him. It can be comforting to remember and dwell on the fact that He has never encountered a moment or an experience that surprised Him. As a matter of fact He has never been upset or confused by what is going on and we live in confidence that Roman’s 8:28 (great pairing with this 8:28 verse) is always true. Nothing has occurred or will ever occur that He did not see coming and prepare a safe and beautiful outcome for His children. Today stand firm on the stability of your Heavenly Father. #BeTheEdge
