One of the distinctives of The Edge partner companies is that they operate from a Biblical Worldview. This verse shows us why that is important, even critical. Dr. Richard Pratt, President of 3rd Mil, says the alternative secular worldview changes based on a persons feelings. In other words rather than basing our understanding of what is righteous behavior on God’s word it is based on each persons desires at the time. Therefore Solomons point is that when those who live their lives according to God’s design are in charge in government or business we all experience a greater degree of tranquility and justice than when wicked and self serving people run things. Some of us have even seen this play out in the church and non profit worlds. There is a very clear line between these two types of people who are led by two very distinct views of how the world and our lives are designed to operate.
