Proverbs 11:20 NIV

“The Lord detests those whose hearts are perverse, but he delights in those whose ways are blameless.”

Without further explanation I’d have to put me somewhere in the middle of the two. However, God has a clear and distinct view of these two polar opposites. The one He detests literally is duplicitous to a persons own heart. Ever go to a doctor who seems disappointed that they have to treat you. I had one of those years ago when I was a diabetic. He seemed not only mean but constantly angry at me for my disease and the impact it had on my health. I’m certain that neither his training or oath inferred this type of treatment. Who chooses to be a doctor because they dislike people. Thankfully every doctor in my story now, and that requires plenty, are kind and caring professionals. Most represent the brand new Biblical Worldview for medical professionals. They are the ones God delights in. All of us have the ability to bless or curse those we encounter in our calling. But, if it’s a calling we better handle it as the one who called us desires. The only cure for a perverse heart is the Great Physician, the one who takes a heart of stone and replaces it with a heart of tenderness. Today give life, love and peace. #BeTheEdge

“I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.” Ezekiel‬ ‭36‬:‭26‬ ‭NIV‬‬
