One of my favorite comedians back a few years ago did a routine called “Here’s your sign”. Basically his point was there are a lot of stupid people doing and saying stupid things that make you want to just hand them a label to warn others. You have a flat tire and someone asks “Gotta flat?” You answer, “No strangest thing. I was just sitting here and the other three just inflated.” “Here’s your sign”. It was a pretty funny set. I love Solomon labeling some folks “good people”. Don’t you? I mean seriously wouldn’t it be nice if everyone had a sign to let us know? It we could look at someone and know right away if they were good or wicked, life would be so much easier to navigate. Even though it’s not quite that simple God has given us the ability to observe someone’s walk in life and get a pretty good sense of which camp they are in or at least which one they shade towards. Scripture tells us that by their deeds you will know them. Even as you ponder that idea, certain people from over your life journey probably come to mind. Today live as the good and steer clear of the wicked. #BeTheEdge
