Proverbs 16:2 NASB

“All the ways of a man are clean in his own sight, but the LORD weighs the motives.” Proverbs 16:2 NASB

I’ve watched, as most of us have, the craziness of the past week and really the past few months. At times I found myself wondering how other people could get everything so wrong. I can’t figure out how I could know what is right and they don’t. I can almost see some of you shaking your heads at my arrogant position. In reality, I realize that good people looking at the same thing from different perspectives come to entirely different conclusions. It must be what went on when Jesus roamed within only about 100 miles during His entire lifetime. With such exposure, many came away firmly convinced that their unique opinion of Him was correct. Some comfortably condemned Him to death. Others worshipped Him as God. Many fell somewhere in between. I don’t know where you stand on the issues facing all of us today or how you view those in charge, but God does, and He is more concerned about your motives than your choices. Let Him examine your heart and either convict or give you peace. As long as it’s Him and not others you listen to, you will find the right path in a confusing time. Today, seek the heart of your Lord and He will clear your vision. #BeTheEdge

“Search me, O God, and know my heart; Try me and know my anxious thoughts; And see if there be any hurtful way in me, and lead me in the everlasting way.” Psalms 139:23-24 NASB
