I had a brother. He went to be with the Lord years ago. I currently have an amazing group of friends who are brothers in Christ and they have loved this knucklehead through some incredibly difficult times. Some brought on by life and others folks as well as many brought on by my own stupidity. As a matter of fact there was no better time to watch true brothers and sisters in God’s kingdom rise up than during my adversity whatever the source. I cannot describe what an amazing gift those people are in a life. You must experience it to fully comprehend it. I’m sure many of you have. I know a couple folks who have faced tremendous adversity in their journey without those people in their life. It is heartbreaking to see. Sadly those folks are often unaware of what they are missing in God’s kingdom. The secret to having those people in your story is an old adage “to have a friend, be a friend”. That old saying is as true in this context as any other. Maybe more so. Today see who needs you in their moment and walk along side them. #BeTheEdge
