Proverbs 22:2 NASB

“The rich and the poor have a common bond, the LORD is the maker of them all.” Proverbs 22:2 NASB

It can be so freeing to realize no one is better than you and no one is worse. That we all have intrinsic value because each of us finds all of our worth in our Creator. It’s not realizing that we are all just average . It’s realizing that our value, and everyone else’s, comes from the price tag placed on us by our Creator. The fact that the God of the universe would send His one and only Son to endure death on the cross to buy us back gives each of us incalculable value. If we were to travel through life seeing each other as God does, we would realize that His hands gently crafted each one of us. Also, that in so doing He placed His eternal image in each of us, designed a supernatural purpose for each of us, and paid the ultimate price for each of us. With that true understanding there would be no distinctions, only an understanding that we have in common a priceless value with unique giftings and callings. There would be no judgment, haughtiness, or racism. We would only find joy and honor in discovering God’s touch on every life. Today, look at others as your Heavenly Father does. #BeTheEdge
