Proverbs 2:8 NIV

“for he guards the course of the just and protects the way of his faithful ones.”

One of the most common conversations I have with men and women has to do with their concern about making the right choices. Their issues cover every conceivable decision one could face in life. I could give examples but I’m confident you can think of one in your story right now. The challenge I see is that they all believe in a sovereign God who loves them like a father does his beloved child. They know He is omniscient and all powerful. Yet still they struggle to understand (read believe) He will not let them go astray in their particular need or issue. I don’t care if you are Calvinist or Armenian – I truly don’t – because either way Gods word and promises are still true. He holds the life of His beloved followers in His hands and as long as we truly seek His will He is big enough to hold shut any door He does not want us to open and to hold open any door He wants us to pass through no matter how hard we try to close it. Pair that with the fact He will redeem any sin or mistake we may make. We can’t lose. It is critical to remember this truth is for those who are just and faithful in their walk with Him. Not perfect. Just faithful. Today walk faithfully with God and live in excited anticipation of watching Him work in you and through you. #BeTheEdge
