Proverbs 3:5-6 NIV

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.” Proverbs 3:5-6 NIV

I don’t know about you, but it seems like this might be a good time to reflect on this one again. It’s been a while since we have considered it as one of our morning devotions. Total, complete, unadulterated trust in God; that is what we are called to. In reality, there is really nothing else that is capable of 100% of our trust. Even the well intentioned or well-built will let you down or break down. Try as they might, humans and their creations are not perfect and will fail. Only God and His truth have a history of many thousands of years of never breaking down or being one single iota wrong. Flawless is the God we serve. It is incredibly valuable to ponder this at times…especially times like this. Put it all on Him. The reason: His guaranteed control of your story. Couple that with His complete love, power, wisdom, and knowledge. Not bad. Trusting in what we can’t always see can be tough, but as we live life, we learn just how fickle trusting in what we can see is. Today, trust in the one with the thousands of years old perfect track record and find peace and victory in your storms.  #BeTheEdge
