“I, wisdom, dwell together with prudence; I possess knowledge and discretion.”
We have a tendency to group people by a wide variety of characteristics. Some hurtful but others actually helpful. One way that we tend to distinguish people is by those who act or react based on their hearts and others who we believe act based on their minds. The Myers Briggs personality test actually helps identify these differences as part of it’s assessment. Whichever group someone finds themselves in they tend to think is a superior way to make a decision. God actually gifted the planet with both kinds of personalities as well as multiple other unique blends of characteristics, traits, strengths and giftings. They are all a reflection of the totality of each which is found in Jesus. While we are tempted to separate people into categories, God brings each together as one beautiful expression of Himself. Matthew Henry puts it this way. “Wisdom here is Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge; it is Christ in the word and Christ in the heart, not only Christ revealed to us, but Christ revealed in us. It is the word of God, the whole compass of divine revelation….” Today appreciate all of Gods unique family members giving special notice and gratitude for those most different from yourself. #BeTheEdge
