Proverbs 8:13 NIV

“To fear the Lord is to hate evil; I hate pride and arrogance, evil behavior and perverse speech.”

There are a lot of reasons to hate evil. The consequences of sin is a good one. The fall of man that brought disease and death. It is the force behind broken relationships, abuse. Poverty and hunger are products of sin and evil in the world. So many valid reasons to hate evil. Ultimately the death of Jesus on the cross was solely because of evil. There can be no peace between the Kingdoms of light and dark. They cannot mix. At times we may be tempted to believe a little sin, a quick wink at evil, is not a big deal. In the same way that even a small amount of dirt in a glass of crystal clear water creates dirty water, any amount of sin and evil in a life brings darkness to that life. Even what we might call a small sin separates us from the blessing of God. We don’t lose our salvation but we are blocking His blessing until we confess and repent and allow Him to restore our fellowship with Him. Today walk clean with God and when you fall quickly confess and be made right. #BeTheEdge

“But your iniquities have separated you from your God; your sins have hidden his face from you, so that he will not hear.” Isaiah‬ ‭59‬:‭2‬ ‭NIV‬‬
