“Listen to my instruction and be wise; do not disregard it.”
I do not read instructions. Putting something together or simply learning to use a new product I’m the trial and error guy. It is not an attribute to be proud of. I suppose if I was mechanical by nature I could pull it off but I’m not. Pretty far from it actually. This strategy has led to many more failures than successes. You’d think I’d learn. What I have learned is to pay the extra $20 and have it put together for me. In life there is no one to step in and put our life together for us. However, we have been given a beautiful and flawless set of instructions. I was once admonished for calling the Bible an instruction manual. Rather I was told it is a love letter from our Father to His beloved child. I get that. I actually love that. However, part of the affirmation that this is the most spectacular love letter ever written is that it is filled from cover to cover with promises, truth and instruction. The creator of life does not just reveal Himself in this book but He also reveals us. How we were designed (in His image) and His intent on how we best reflect Him. He makes it clear that His love is given through His Son and His great gift of wisdom. Today follow the designers plan and live wisely. #BeTheEdge
