Proverbs 8:34 NIV

“Blessed are those who listen to me, watching daily at my doors, waiting at my doorway.” Proverbs 8:34 NIV

At any given time, there are a lot of ways to interpret what we see going on in the world, and more specifically in our own life. Ultimately, we all fall more or less into one of two categories. I’m not talking about optimists or pessimists although we certainly know those exist. What I’m referring to is those who believe in the sovereign hand of an eternal, loving, all powerful, Creator God and those who don’t. One view leaves us empty, frightened, and feeling tossed around in this vast universe by fate. The other view gives us the opportunity to move boldly into each day watching with great anticipation for the active presence in our journey as our God continues to write the story of today and tomorrow. There can be no greater difference in perspective or shaping of attitude and response. As we listen to the voice of our Creator and watch Him work, we are filled with confidence and, dare I say, hope. Today, find courage in the awareness of Who is working in us, with us and through us during trying times. #BeTheEdge
