“Listen, for I will speak noble things; and the opening of my lips will reveal right things.” Proverbs 8:6 NASB

With a few decades behind me, my soul longs to hear noble and right things – perhaps like never before. The thing I know at my core is that noble and right things exist and are also being spoken. They are not necessarily being shouted, but they are available and being spoken. I sat in a church service this past Sunday, outdoors, on the lake. It was mostly music with a few spoken words between songs. I looked across the calm water at the blue sky with white fluffy clouds, and felt the gentle breeze blowing as simple words of truth about God were sung. In my soul I heard, “it’s all good.”  I remember thinking, “Really? I’m to believe that?” And just as quickly, a sense of peace settled inside me and Paul’s words to the Romans rolled over my soul: “…all things work together for the good to those who love God….” Yep, that’s me, and I hope it’s you. There are people of faith speaking noble and right things, today. Thankfully, I can name several people in my journey. Mike, Bill, Todd, Dawn, Tim, Andy, and a dozen more. Can you name those in your story? Listen to them. If you can’t, or even if you can, review the nobility in God’s own words, and dwell on them. Today, find peace for the journey in the noble and right words that emanate from the heart of God. #BeTheEdge
