“The righteousness of the blameless makes their paths straight, but the wicked are brought down by their own wickedness.”
I love watching leaders of a certain age who display a depth of wisdom and insight that seems well beyond their years. Conversely I am often intrigued by the foolishness of people of an age and stage in life where they certainly should know better. Solomon explains a bit of what that is all about. As we live Godly lives, being diligent to walk correctly with both God and man, we gain more light every step of the way. As the light increases we see with ever increasing clarity the heart and mind of God with unique and power filled perception. I have recently referred to walking in the light we have been give. It is a fact that we are only given what God knows we can handle. This truth aligns squarely with the truth that as we show ourselves faithful in the little we are able to be trusted with more. The sad opposite truth is that we’ve all seen leaders who try to operate in the shade and their lives and careers suffer. One of the great joys of my job is dealing with business leaders who definitely walk in the light they have been given and continue to gain more and develop greater wisdom and insight. It is almost a tangible growth. In most instances their effect on their companies is measurable. Today pursue His light and watch it grow. #BeTheEdge
